In DRC, sister Alphonsine Ciza created hydro electricity to enable free power consumption in her immediate environment.
The story started with the perpetual power outage in a part of Miti city in DRC. The trained electrician decided to give a practical and hopefully a permanent solution to it by building a mini hydroelectric plant.
After her labour of love, her convent, a church, two schools and clinic no longer have to worry about power failure or bills.
This laudable feat can be copied by other such individuals in other parts of Africa I think. Do you also share the same opinion? Let us share in the comments section below.
