Is there a Miss Universe scandal in Eritrea? One of the finalists of Miss Universe Eritrea has come out to accuse the Miss Universe Eritrea organization of bias. In an Instagram video posted over twenty hours ago, Winta Russom has invited the international body to investigate the event. Though six of them made it to the finals, the voting was allegedly sabotaged.

Winta Russom, Aida Mebrahtu, Mahlet Haide, Rodas kiflom and Nardos Habte want answers for the future of Miss Universe Eritrea.

In addition, according to Ms W. Russom and Ms. M. Haide, voting for the other contestants were closed at the stipulated time. But that of Ms. Tewoldemedhin, continued counting. That cheating gimmick, made Winta Russom opt out of the contest. And immediately took to her IG handle to explain her sudden exit.

Things further worsened when the judges suddenly declared that the selection would be done by zoom.

Is there a Miss Universe scandal concerning the selection of Snit Tewoldemedhin as Miss Universe Eritrea 2024? Are the other contestants justified about dissatisfaction with the organization? Winta Russom has invited to look into it, especially considering that it is Eritrea’s debut at the international event.
